Councilor Adamson's 8th annual book bag give away and cook out, Saturday June 29th
On Saturday June 29, City-Councilor Zach Adamson will host his 8th annual book bag give away and cook out in conjunction with Indy Parks Pack The Parks.
Kids and families needing school supplies for the new school year are encourages to join this exciting annual event.
This year's event will start at 11am at Frederick Douglass Park Family Center. The parade of Children will begin around 1130, so please make sure to be there by then. Tickets given out at the parade will be used to collect the book bags, and kids must be present to get a bookbag. Hotdogs, chips, and lemonade will be provided.
Food and book bags are limited and available while supplies last.
Remember, this day is also Pack the Parks day so all the Swimming Pools are Free also so don't forget to bring your swimming trunks.
