The Monumental Marathon is fast approaching. For many neighborhoods in the 17th District this event can be a major headache. Starting before 8am on November 4th and not ending until after 3pm, many streets in Indianapolis will be closed and many more will dead end at a closed street. Being prepared is the only way to avoid a bad situation. This race essentially cuts the city in half but if you plan your route on this day you can avoid ending up in a jam lasting hours long. Below you will find a map of the route. Remember, the route will be closed to auto traffic AND any of those streets crossing those streets will end at that point until the last person crosses that intersection.
